Africa is unique and challenging in terms of textures, landscapes and light. The continent has been shaped over time by the geology, climate and the interaction with the rather special animals and vegetation that have evolved under these conditions. In this portfolio I seek to capture the excitement and feeling of Africa in the belief that this is best served through the medium of near-infrared photography. The portfolio is presented from the base of the geology through the vegetation to the animals that live within the landscape and set in the context of the climate.
