Chimps Fishing for Termites

This is not easy to see but you can make out one of the chimp hands holding a stick that she moves into a hole and persuade the termites or ants to grab hold of the insects before eating them.

Chimps regularly stop listen and look up into the tops of the trees. This is probably just checking for neighbours, presence of other primates that may form a meal and checking out the rest of the group. Look through my photos and you will see many examples of chimps looking up.
